This program provides services for single-family households who meet specific qualifications and are serviced by Pennsylvania American Water. Staff review the application and make decisions on the next steps for the household. Services can include up to 3 months of utility assistance, assistance to stop terminations or re-instate services or referrals to other service providers. This may include ongoing discount services, budgeting plans, and other services to help the household move toward being self-sustaining. Staff can also provide case management services to educate consumers on various programs that may help make household expenses more affordable. You must qualify for assistance with your PA American Water bill. However, if you do not meet these criteria, but still are in need of assistance, please contact us at water@fotp-ihm.org.
