Uninsured / Underinsured Patients

Christ Clinic serves low income uninsured and underinsured patients from across the Greater Houston Area. The majority of Christ Clinics patients face complex barriers to health, including co-morbidity, and mental and behavioral health issues. Additionally, patients with more complex diagnoses receive case management services which helped to improve their health literacy and understanding of their care plans. These patients also receive referrals for behavioral health services and were provided access to much needed other social supports. Of the Christ Clinics patients surveyed in 2022, 90% report having improved health as a result of care.
