Birthed by a founding partner of New Life, Pastor Kevin Turpin, the Life Enrichment Center is a non-profit organization providing literacy tutoring and other life-giving initiatives for elementary students from Title I Schools in Hampton Roads. Tutors are matched with one student, one hour a week, for the academic year. Having grown to over 30 schools, more than 5,000 students have benefited from the LEC Literacy Initiative since 2003.
