The Leadership Academy was launched to help Granny’s House kids create a road map for the future. In addition to teaching them about the character qualities that make great leaders, we bring in leaders from the business, education, church community to share secrets to success. The kids hear from professionals who have careers in the fields that interest them and have opportunities to ask really important questions. Questions like, “Did you ever want to quit?” and “What role did your faith play in helping you become successful?” or “Did you ever hear things that made you want to cry?” Every guest speaker opens a new window of possibilities for Granny’s House kids.
