Freedom for Everyone Enslaved

North Star Initiative has battled trafficking in Lancaster County since 2011 pursuing the mission to end trafficking in our community and restore trafficking victims. Collaboration is one of our core values, and we have been grateful to partner over the years with Freedom for Everyone Enslaved (F.R.E.E.), an anti-trafficking organization in Berks County that is also dedicated to raising awareness in the community and investing in survivors’ transformative journeys. NorthStar offers holistic, therapeutic care for residents in an urban setting. Survivors experience trauma-informed programming, including physical care, legal guidance and advocacy, job training, and case management to reach personal goals and milestones such as GED, vocational training, and recovery support.
