Family Rehousing Stability

The Family Rehousing Stabilization Program is a rapid rehousing program that offers emergency rental assistance and housing case-management services to formerly homeless families in D.C. to stabilize their housing situation within one year or less. Client eligibility is determined by the Community Partnership for the Prevention of Homelessness. The goal of the program is to assist families through case management and supportive services, to increase self-sufficiency, and maintain permanent housing. While in the program, families work on their goals to achieve independence, maintain compliance with their lease, obtain/maintain employment, budgeting/financial management and credit repair, pursue education or job training skills, and maintain their housing by paying their portion of the rent on time. Partnering with the Catholic Charities Archdiocese of Washington.
