We strive for the children of incarcerated parents to receive extra layers of support from community resources, recreational opportunities, educational assistance and in-home support. Caretakers also benefit from referrals to financial resources in the county, as well as guidance for their unique circumstances. Specific support is available for grandparents raising grandchildren. Children with incarcerated parents often feel the weight of the world on their shoulders.
